I have done a bear. I have done a sleeping animal. I have done a pinata. I have done Kitty blindfolded. But together? Genius!

Bears are cute and lethal at the same time. Perfect for my purposes.

By the way, I'm stealing the poison dart thingy from the Punisher comment for next week.

Sweet! I was wondering if you'd read it back then ;)

Here's a suggestion I thought of for a week long series: Kitty on a roller skate or skateboard or something and on the first day she's reeling into something like Mory's Mouse Trap Emporium, and on the second day, she's got a mouse trap on a portion of her body, and she's headed into a different unfortunate warehouse...

Sort of taking Effigy's bout of unfortunate store locations and turning them into a week long running gag where she ends up gradually worse off and then you can have something to finish her off on the Friday :)

Man, that would be a sweet theme week... and since I draw the whole week at once, now, it would be a snap.

My current schedule is really accommodating some creative time, so I think I'll use it to the fullest while I can. I'm finally going home for a month of vacation at the end of next week, so my total output might drop off... but we'll see.

Inspired by the two of you, my wife has tried to help out in various ways when I'm home, although June has her beat in the artistic talent department. But she does do a lot of useful things like erasing the pencil lines, keeping the scanner plate clean, and organizing the work area. She has even inked a couple of the less complicated cartoons, and maybe that's what she'll end up doing later on. If she has the patience for it, that is.

Hey, that's awesome! I feel bad sometimes because I feel like I'm doing all the light work while Skrael does all the heavy lifting. In the end, though, I love the fact that we have something to discuss and debate. There are times when it seems harder than others to have a conversation that isn't forced, but thankfully there is always something to discuss about the comic when we need something to talk about :)

If she's willing and interested, I suspect that she will find more and more opportunity to help out. That Kitty is deceptively hard to draw when you're untalented though, I've tried!
