This was a lot simpler when I thumbnailed it earlier in the week. However, with my new drafting pens on hand to do some more professional inking, I went for broke on this one. And then procrastination set in... and I used the evening of my last day off this weekend (which was Monday, so I'm actually behind schedule) to ink it. And the next cartoon. But man, it works great.

So I'm tired, and will be tomorrow when I wake up early for work. But happy.

Justifiably so. Looks awesome.
I gotta say tho, I think it would look better if you replaced the gray gradient with some simple cross-hatching.
Actually, since you have cross-hatching under the cars, I would have just added some to the buildings and voila...

But then Arden would gleefully make fun of me. And Scott McCloud says crosshatching in webcomics is bad.

I don't know where that comes from... I like good cross-hatching.

Well, not *bad*, but he does ask why someone would limit themselves to limitations of paper comics on the web. And sometimes I'm tempted to totally color these things on the computer... occasionally I do. But it's another hour or two of work per cartoon. Why? I think black and white works just fine for me...
